Booth, Elva004WARSAW – Elva Booth, 94, of Warsaw, died Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Signature Healthcare of Coshocton.

She was born March 7, 1922 in Logan, Utah to the late Walter Avon and Clara (Smith) Winger.

She worked for the A & P Store and Edmonts in Coshocton.  She served as a foster grandparent at Head Start for over 20 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Roger) Hardesty of Warsaw and her son, Garry Booth of Pataskala.  Grandchildren, Lisa (Ron) Morrison, Donna (James) Creamer, Teresa (Scott) Balder, and Doug (Heather) Hardesty. Step grandson, Raymond A. (Ellen) Hardesty. Great grandchildren Roni (Jason) Baker, Michele (Eddie) Whitt, Samantha Perry, Elizabeth Perry, Morganne Balder, Logan Balder, and Gavin Hardesty.  Step great grandson, Alex Hardesty.  Special friends, Jack & Kim Dawson of North Las Vegas.  A sister-in-law, Anna Winger of North Las Vegas.  A brother-in-law, Richard Sapp of Warsaw and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl William Booth, whom she married Nov. 1, 1938, he died Jan. 6, 1990. She was also preceded in death by her twin sister, Melva and sisters, Delpha, Mildred, Thelma, Blanche, Norma, & Inez. Her brothers, Dallas and Fred  Winger.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Pastor Bill Jones officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Burial will take place at a later date in the Darling Run Cemetery at Warsaw.  www.fischerfuneralhome.com
