Emma Jane Ash

Emma Jane Ash, age 71, of Mount Vernon, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Country Court Nursing Center.

She was born on September 23, 1944 in Salem, WV to the late Warner and Wynona (Bell) Ash.

Emma worked for 37 years at Sperry & Rice Manufacturing Company in Killbuck, Ohio.

Emma was survived by her daughter, Kimberly (Charles) Gilpin of Warsaw, Ohio; grandchildren, Kelly (Matt) Conley of Bowling Green, Allex Ash (Sierra) of Coshocton; brothers, Danny Ash of Millwood, Donald Ash of West Union, WV; sisters, Geneva (Jeff) Pringle of Nashville, Ohio and Sarah (Mitchell) Hoffman of Ravenswood, WV; many nieces, nephews and cousins who she dearly loved and her beloved pet dog, Luke.

She was preceded in death by brothers, John and Roger Ash and her favorite sister-in-law, Molley Ash.

The family observed a private celebration of Emma’s life, on Wednesday June 22, 2016 at the park in New Castle, Ohio.
