Jones GloriaGloria Oleen Jones, 80, of Coshocton passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 9:42 P.M. at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Zanesville.

Born October 16, 1932 in Coshocton, Gloria was the daughter of the late Bradner Evan and Ethel Belle (Snedeker) Williams.

She was a graduate of Coshocton High School with a perfect attendance record. On July 27, 1951 she married James Clyde “Jim” Jones who survives.

Gloria had attended the 1800 East Chestnut Street Church of Christ. In her prime she was an active member and volunteered many hours at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital Pink Ladies Auxiliary. She adored her animals and much joy was brought to her life by Lily, Lenny, Gizmo, JC and Heidi.

Her caring and nurturing personality along with her desire to help others will truly be missed by her husband Jim; son James Craig “Jimmy” Jones of Coshocton; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Gloria was preceded in death by four daughters Gail O. Bemiller, Gina Montgomery, Janielle Jones, Jeri Requarth; four brothers Francis, Bradner, Gene, Laurel “Mickey” Williams; four sisters Vivian Newell, Violet Myers, Donna Eppley, and Dorothy Streets.

Calling hours will be held Monday, July 15, 2013, from 12 noon to 2:00 P.M., followed by services at 2:00 P.M. at the Free Funeral Home in Coshocton with Lloyd Tenney, Minister officiating. Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens.
