Jason Alan Kobel

Jason Alan Kobel, age 47, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023. He was born in Coshocton on March 2, 1975 to Sue Davis and Lester “Jim” Kobel, who survive. He was a graduate of River View High School and was currently working at Wiley Companies. He was an OSU Buckeyes fan and watched Nascar Racing. He loved to hunt and fish and float the river. He spent time with his grandchildren and would teach them to fish at the river and to hunt.

Along with his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Kayla Kobel of Coshocton and son, Dylan Bryant of Fresno; grandchildren, Zaeden Holmes, Averlynn Buker and Areena Buker; step siblings, Bryan (Machiel) Carroll, Mark (Jen) Davis and Judy (Dave) Brumm; girlfriend, Jenny Everhart and step-mother, Cathy Kobel.

Preceding him in death is his step dad, William E. Davis and step-brother and wife, Mike and Susie Davis.

Calling hours will be at The Miller Funeral Home on Monday, January 23, 2023 from 4pm to 6pm. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 1pm at the Canal Lewisville United Methodist Church with Pastor Matt Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at the Coshocton County Memory Gardens.
