Leo Glenn Cochran

Leo Glenn Cochran, 94, of Coshocton passed away Thursday, Aug. 5, 2021 at the Lafayette Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation in West Lafayette. He was born in Delaware, Ohio on July 6, 1927 to the late Melvin W. and Laura M. (Ours) Cochran.

Leo served in the United States Army, during World War II, and worked as a truck driver and farmer prior to Peabody Coal, where he retired from. He was a member of the West Lafayette United Methodist Church, American Legion, and a previous member of America Country Association of Zanesville. He enjoyed music and collecting John Deere memorabilia.

Leo is survived by his children Susan (Dana) Belcher of Croton, OH, Laurie Evans of West Lafayette, Pete Cochran of Coshocton, Allison Cochran of Coshocton, and Mark (Ann) Cochran of Spring, TX; stepson Paul (Sharon) Doty of Asheville, NC; brother Larry Cochran of Warsaw; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandsons.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Helen Cochran; granddaughter Deanna Emerson; siblings Freda DeLong, Alden Cochran, Norma Combest, Avery Cochran, and Phyllis Edwards.

Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main Street, Coshocton, Ohio 43812 on Tuesday August 10, 2021 from 11:00am-1:00pm with funeral services beginning at 1:00pm with Pastor Mark Granger officiating. Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens where the Coshocton County Veterans Council will be performing military honors. An online memorial is located at www.themillerfuneralhome.com.
