Local pair earns Eagle Scout rank

An Eagle Scout court of honor was held at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church on Sunday, June 9 for Zachary Pessia and Henry Couts. The pair are members of Boy Scout Troop 438. The boys were presented with a plaque signifying their Eagle rank and both boys gave their fathers a special mentoring pin. Zachary and Henry thanked their parents and scout leaders for pushing them and providing them with guidance and leadership. Pictured are Wayne and Anne Pessia, Zachary, Henry, Henry’s Aunt Pam Leyda and Bill Couts.
