Marilyn Joan Welling

Marilyn Joan Welling, 80, of Coshocton passed away at 3:30 a.m. on Friday, September 13, 2013 at the Coshocton County Memorial Hospital.

Born December 18, 1932 in Roscoe, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Hazel (Montgomery) Foster.

Marilyn graduated from Roscoe High School in 1951 and was employed in the office at the former J.J. Newberry store in Coshocton. She had attended the Prairie Chapel United Methodist Church. Marilyn will be remembered as an avid bowler and had won many trophies. She loved dogs and had a special love for her Boston terriers.

On July 6, 1958 Marilyn married Adrian Wayne Welling who survives along with a brother Gordon (Susan) Foster of Tulsa, Oklahoma; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

To honor Marilyn’s request, there will be a private viewing Tuesday morning, September 17, 2013 at the Free Funeral Home, Coshocton followed by a graveside service at 10:30 A.M. at Prairie Chapel Cemetery with Pastor Charles Warren officiating.

Memoriums may be made  to the Coshocton County Animal Shelter, 21755 T.R. 164, Coshocton, OH  43812. Envelopes are available at the Free Funeral Home.
