Mark ‘Rooster’ Maher

COSHOCTON – Mark “Rooster” Maher, 54, of Coshocton passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at his home surrounded by family.  He was born in Coshocton on July 30, 1964 to the late Donald and Muriel (Parks) Maher.

He graduated from River View High School in 1982 and was previously a manager at Head Waters, drove truck and most recently worked for Seth Little Farms.  He attended the Fresno United Methodist Church and loved going to the beach, drag racing, fishing and spending time with his dogs, Vega and Aeriel.

Mark is survived by his wife, Suann (Dunlap) Maher, whom he married September 16, 1989; sister Marsha (Frank) Hull of Pennsylvania; Aunt Dorothy Reeves; nieces Devon Hull, Julie Hull, and Carrie (Derik) Doty; great nieces Kaylia Myers and Raya Doty; great nephew Caden Hull; great great niece Athena Myers; cousins Carolyn Cornell and Brian (Andrea) Cornell.

Calling hours will be held at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main Street, Coshocton, Ohio 43812 on Monday October 8, 2018 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm and one hour prior to the funeral services.  Funeral services for Mark will be Tuesday at 11:00 with Pastor Dan Eggan officiating.  Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions can be directed towards the Humane Society or Interim Hospice of Coshocton; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.  An online memorial is located at www.themillerfuneralhome.com.
