Max Bryan

COSHOCTON – Max Bryan, 91, passed away Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017.

He was born April 10, 1926 in Coshocton Co. to the late Clyde and Eunice (McClary) Bryan. He graduated with the Class of 1944 from Coshocton High School, and De Vry Technical Institute of Chicago. He served in the US Navy from Sept. 1945 to Oct. 1946. He enjoyed scuba diving, and building and flying model airplanes.

He retired in 1988 from the State of Ohio Attorney General’s Office and Common Pleas Court of Coshocton Co. (bailiff) after 54 years of employment.

On Saturday, Sept. 17, 1949 he married his wife of 68 years, Fanny (Weatherwax) Bryan, who survives. He also leaves his special daughter, Cheri (Larry) Corder; three wonderful granddaughters, Jamie (Bob) Nedved, Brandy (Randy) Burchett, and Christy (Doug) Baylor; six great-grandchildren, Cole & Paige Bemiller, Gavin & Raina Kesterson, and Ella & Lucy Baylor; a sister-in-law, Doris Bryan; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Winifred Freedman; and three brothers, Tom, Stanford, & Jack Bryan.
