Michael Warren Cox

Michael Warren Cox, age 60, of Coshocton, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021.  He was born on November 21, 1960 in Coshocton to the late Albert and Bette (Seward) Cox.

He join the United States Army, service his country until he was honorably discharged. On June 20, 1986 he married the love of his life, Loretta (Moore) Cox.

Mike was fan of REO Speedwagon and loved listen to their music; he was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He loved collecting vinyl albums and vintage stereo equipment. He was a member of the VFW and enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and dogs Chichi and Baby.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Loretta; three children, Brandy (Fiancé Derek Lowe) Hostetler of Columbus, Michael (Christine) Cox of Newcomerstown and Kyle Cox of Coshocton; seven grandchildren, Ashton, Alexis, Laney, Audrey, Hannah, Caleb and Drake; siblings, Nonie Ryan of Coshocton, Stephen (Linda) Cox of Bremen and Bill (Jodie) Cox of Millersburg; and many nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Mike is preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Cox.

Per Mike’s wishes, a cremation will take place. Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home is serving the family.
