Nationally-acclaimed Christian author and speaker to present program

| January 12, 2015

COSHOCTON – When Pastor Joel Mason of Branch United Methodist Church heard Marian Jordan Ellis speak, he was so impressed with her message that he ordered her new book. Mason’s wife, Susan, read the book, entitled “Sex and the Single Christian Girl” when it arrived and it had a lasting impression on her.

“I was so moved by it,” she said. “I was just so impressed by her book. It’s all biblically based. She takes the Bible and is reflecting on her own life. I know we’ve got to get this out there to the women of Coshocton County. They have a choice to say no to sex before marriage.”

Ellis will be speaking at Prairie Chapel United Methodist Church, located at 45494 County Road 23 in Coshocton on Thursday, Jan. 15 at 7 p.m. The event is open to women and girls ages 12 and older. Those under the age of 12 should be accompanied by a female guardian.

“Even if they are married, they may know someone who may be in the midst of what Marian is talking about and can mentor them,” said Susan.

Ellis lives in San Antonio, TX with her husband and two sons. She is the founder of Redeemed Girl Ministries, a ministry that has a vision to see women be redeemed by the grace of Jesus Christ. She has published several books.

The event is sponsored by Branch United Methodist Church. To learn more about Ellis, visit marianjordan.com.
