One injured in early morning accident

COSHOCTON – At 5:43 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 7, the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to a single vehicle accident with
injuries on State Route 83 North, just north of Coshocton County Road 24. The vehicle was being driven by William Leasure of Coshocton. Leasure was traveling south on State Route 83 North when he went off the east side of the roadway, through a ditch and striking a rock before he was ejected from the vehicle.

Leasure was treated at the scene and then flown to The Ohio State University Medical Center. His condition is unknown at this time.

Assisting at the scene was Coshocton County EMS, Three Rivers Fire District, MedFlight and Prince’s Wrecker. The accident remains under investigation at
this time.
