River View boys set new relay record

River View Varsity Swimming hosted Coshocton, John Glenn, and Cambridge at the Janet Jones Mulligan Natatorium on Jan. 28, where the boys set a new relay record.

The first place 200 free relay of Reas Pepper, Brayden Karr, Zachariah Phillips, and JT Roberts posted a new meter record time of 1:44.68. In other boys relay events, the group of Luke Massie, Phillips, Cole Tatro, and Roberts won the 200 medley (2:01.84), and the group of Jamal Watts, Phillips, Tatro, and Karr won the 400 free (4:06.97).

Placing first in individual events were Coen Bible in the 200 free (2:17.08), Roberts in the 50 free (26.25), Tatro in the 100 fly (1:06.71) and 100 breast (1:19.19), Pepper in the 100 free (58.44), and the 100 back (1:06.28), and Phillips in the 400 free (5:18.91).

Winning in girls events were the 200 free relay of MaryAnn Lozowski, Britton McCoy, Michaela White, and Raychel Smalley (2:18.84), McCoy in the 200 free (2:59.27), and Lozowski in the 100 free (1:16.70).
