Roscoe to have cleanup day

| April 21, 2015

Roscoe Village Clean Up Day 2014It’s that time of year when you move from indoor spring cleaning to your gardens outdoors. In Roscoe, we have been removing the first layer of winter by sweeping up all the sand and gravel from the streets. We are now ready to move to the flower beds and lawn areas. And we need your help! Roscoe Landscape Dept. is having a clean-up day on Saturday, April 25 from 9 a.m. – Noon. Help us for an hour or three hours! Volunteers should park at the Visitor’s Center and meet at the lower entrance. What a better way to get your body adjusted to working outdoors. We will be picking up sticks, cleaning leaves out of beds, and cutting back mums and sedums. We will have leaf rakes and garden rakes. Bring a friend and join the Landscape staff in getting Roscoe Village ready for the coming season! For any questions, call Connie Miller at 740-622-7644 ext. 10 and leave a message.
