RVHS relay team makes Black Bear history
The River View Black Bears boys’ 200 Free Relay team of Reas Pepper, Brayden Karr, Zachariah Phillips, and JT Roberts competed in the 2020-21 Ohio High School Athletic Association State Swimming Championship Meet on Feb. 25 at the C.T. Branin Natatorium.
They swam a new school record yard time of 1:31.82 (Pepper 22.85, Karr 23.51, Phillips 23.22, Roberts 22.24) and placed 20th overall in Division II, which is the highest finish for a relay in the history of the program. Video of the race is available on the River View Black Bears Facebook page.
