Search warrant turns up drug related items

WEST LAFAYETTE – Coshocton County Sheriff’s deputies executed a search warrant at approximately 3:45 p.m. Jan. 16, in the 200 block of East Fourth Street in West Lafayette. One male suspect was taken into custody and many drug related items were taken from the home, including Methamphetamine manufacturing paraphernalia.

This warrant is a result of a lengthy, joint investigation conducted by West Lafayette Police Department, Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office, and the Coshocton County Prosecutor’s Office.

Also assisting West Lafayette Police Department were the Coshocton County EMS, Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team and Holmes County Clandestine Lab Deconstruction Unit.

This incident remains under investigation by your Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office and West Lafayette Police Department.
