Update on drug bust on Locust Street

COSHOCTON – On Jan. 29, at 1:17 p.m., the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 300 block of Locust St., in the City of Coshocton. Two men remain in custody in relation to this long term investigation into the sale of narcotics.

A large amount of suspected drugs, cash and drug-related items were seized during the execution of this warrant.

On Jan. 30, Rocky A. Stubbs, a 63-year-old male from the Coshocton area, was formally charged with trafficking in cocaine, a felony of the first degree. Also on Jan. 30, Charles D. Kirkpatrick, a 27-year-old male from the Coshocton area, was charged with Trafficking in Cocaine, a felony of the second degree.

Assisting the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office in this investigation were the Coshocton County Prosecutor’s Office and Prince’s Wrecker.

This incident remains under investigation by your Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office.
