Sheriff Office Report for April 6, 2021

On April 5th, the Sheriff Office investigated 5 Accidents and 7 Complaints. 

Accidents:

  • Eric Dowden of Canfield, Ohio, struck power lines near State Route 621 and US 36, causing a small grass fire.
  • Nathan Lemon of Killbuck was traveling East on State Route 16, pulling a utility trailer behind his truck, when a tire on the trailer broke off and struck Kayla Walker of Coshocton, who was traveling West on State Route 16.
  • Marlene Schaefer of Warsaw and Mathew Vestal of Coshocton were both exiting the parking lot of Shop Wise, when their vehicles collided.

  • Dakota Bender of Coshocton struck Gerald Paul of Coshocton in the parking lot of Little Cesar’s Pizza.

Complaints: 

  • The Sheriff’s Office recieved a report of vandalism to a cemetery on Township Road 123 in Linton Township.
  • Under investigation.
  • An illegal dump was located in the 15000 block of County Road 410.
  • A litter complaint was investigated in. the 200 block of West Main Street in Plainfield.
  • Traffic citation.
  • A report of a domestic situation in the 1000 block of Ivy Street.
  • Michelle Fischer of Coshocton reported an unemployment fraud.
