Sheriff’s office executes search warrants

On Wednesday, March 25, 2020, the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office executed two search warrants at two unrelated residents.  Two adult males were initially taken into custody pending an investigation into child pornography. Several electronic devices were also seized at both residences.

Later on March 25, one adult male was released from custody as the investigation continues. One adult male remained in custody in the justice center awaiting the filing of formal charges.

On March 26, 2020, Cory R. Durben, a 38-year-old male from the Coshocton area, was formally charged with pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, a felony of the second degree.

Assisting the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office with this on-going investigation are the Coshocton County Prosecutor’s Office, ICAC (International Crimes Against Children) and Homeland Security.

This incident remains under investigation by your Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office.
