Sheriff’s Office Morning Report for April 25, 2019

On April 24, 2019 the Sheriff’s Office investigated 3 accident (s) and 4 complaint (s):

 

Accidents:

12:30 A.M.  Tyler Wine of Warsaw was traveling eastbound on State Route 16 when he went left of center, went off the left side of the roadway and into a ditch.  Upon investigation Mr. Wine was arrested and charged with OVI he was also cited for failure to control and driving with a suspended license.

 

5:24 A.M.  Teresa Cottrell of West Lafayette was traveling west on Chestnut Street when she lost control of the vehicle going off the left side of the roadway and striking a tree.

 

12:06 P.M.  James Mercentile of Coshocton was traveling westbound on US 36 when he struck a deer.

 

Complaints:

9:44 A.M.  The Alternative School requested a deputy to check out a pill they found on a student.

 

1:04 P.M.  Litter Patrol located an illegal dump site on Monroe Township Road 130, approximately 75 tires were located on the side of the road.

 

1:30 P.M.  Litter Patrol located an illegal dump site on Monroe Township Road 130, approximately 150-200 tires were located over the embankment.

 

3:24 P.M.  Susan Jackson reported identity theft in the 1500 block of Prospect Avenue.
