Shirley Jean Lauvray

Shirley Jean Lauvray, 81, of Coshocton passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, Nov. 29, 2021, at the Coshocton Regional Medical Center. She was born in Coshocton, on March 27, 1940, to the late Kenneth G. and Florence A. (Lumm) Murray.

Shirley was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Coshocton and had worked as a nurses assistant for 28 years at the Coshocton County Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed word searches, watching tv, playing with the dogs, and spending time with her grandchildren, especially her great grandson, Tanner.

Shirley is survived by her children, Lynn Lauvray of Coshocton and Steven (Ann) Lauvray of Fresno; grandchildren, Matthew Lauvray and Kayla (Jordan) Marcincavage; great-grandson, Tanner Marcincavage; sister, Sandy Hubbly; brother-in-law, David (Ina) Lauvray; sister-in-law, Jean Raber; grand pup, Bruno; special cousin, Jean Ann Moore; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lauvray, who passed away July of this year; sister, Ruthann Clark; and brother, Kenneth Murray.

Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, OH 43812 on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021 from 10 a.m. to noon with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 12:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Coshocton with Father Tom Gardner officiating. Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be directed toward Sacred Heart Catholic Church or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
