Steve Hunter Paper PictureStephen E. Hunter, 62, of Coshocton passed away at Grant Medical Center surrounded by his loving family on March 26, 2014. Steve was born in Coshocton on July 13, 1951 to Edward Hunter and Wilma Jean (Lowe) Hunter. He graduated from River View High School and attended The Ohio State University in Columbus and Wooster.  He worked as a heavy equipment operator in coal mines for many years until he ventured out and started Hunter Tree Service. He is survived by his daughter Stephanie Hunter; son Clete Hunter; father Edward (Joanne) Hunter; brother Scott (Kathy) Hunter; grandchildren Cameron and Camille Murphy and Myia Carmichael; niece Katy Hunter. He is preceded in death by his mother Wilma Jean  (Lowe) Hunter. Friends may call at Miller Funeral Home, Coshocton on Monday March 31, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.  The funeral service will take place Tuesday at 1:00 PM with Pastor Jeremy Roseberry officiating.  Interment will follow at Canal Lewisville Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Coshocton County Animal Shelter, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.  An online memorial is located at www.themillerfuneralhome.com
