Time to register for 4-H Junior Camp

COSHOCTON – Coshocton County 4-H Junior Camp will be held Saturday, July 5 through Wednesday, July 9.

The theme this year is Island Adventure and the cost is $170, which includes a color camp picture. However, non 4-H members must pay $180.

Camp is open to any youth from 8-years-old and in the third grade on Jan. 1, 2014 to those who have finished the eighth grade and are entering the ninth grade. Members of 4-H have preference over non-members, although there has been room for both in the past.

The camp is locating in Licking County at 11461 Camp Ohio Road in St. Lousiville. While there, campers will have the opportunity to enjoy archery, riflery, creeking, fishing, hikes, dances, cookouts, swimming and much more.

For registration information, visit the OSU Extension office at 724 S. Seventh St. Registration is due by Friday, June 13. A $10 late fee will be added after June 13. For information, call 622-2265.
