Union planning community health fair

| May 1, 2018

WARSAW – The second annual Union Elementary Health Fair will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 3, at the school. The event is free and open to the public.

Union Elementary School classes will each have a display that gives information about health issues/diseases that affect children (class research projects). Community organizations and agencies also will be available with information about positive, family-oriented health, safety, and wellness choices.

Baker’s IGA has agreed to donate “snack bags” for families who attend the health fair with fresh, health snacks. Blood pressure checks will be done by the city health department and the county health department will have a display on insect related safety. Exercise ideas and kid-friendly snack recipes will be offered by the district wellness staff.

Free space is still available to community agencies. To get involved or reserve a booth, contact Jarred Renner at 740-327-2351 or [email protected].
