US 36 accident reported

On January 24th, 2022 at approximately 1:16 P.M. the Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call advising of a one-vehicle accident with possible injuries on US 36 and CR 115. Upon arrival of deputies it was determined that a Joshua Woodby (age:32) of Newcomerstown was driving a 2017 Nissan eastbound on US 36 and CR 115, when he lost control of the vehicle going off roadway and into the median area.  The vehicle then overturned and ended up on its wheels. A passenger David Woodby (age:61) of Newcomerstown had minor injuries and went to the hospital by POV.  This accident remains under investigation by the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office.

Assisting the Sheriff’s Office at the scene was Coshocton County EMS, Three Rivers Fire Department and Princes Wrecker Service.
