Anton Kurtz

NEWCOMERSTOWN – Anton Kurtz, 90, of Newcomerstown, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Riverside Manor Nursing & Rehab. Center, Newcomerstown. He was born Wednesday, June 8, 1927 in Joaka, Yugoslavia to John and Johna (Eible) Kurtz. He worked as a machinist and owned Frankies Cafe in Cuyahoga Falls for 15 years. He was a member of the St. Francis DeSales Church of Newcomerstown. He married Elizabeth (Wheeler)  Kurtz on December 6, 1970, who survives. He is also survived by a daughter, Denice Lynn (Matt) Lentine of Fairlawn; a son, Christopher John (Rebecca) Kurtz of Stow; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Marie Harbin; special niece, Rosemary Heeling; special nephew, Shawn Kesler. Graveside services will be Friday, April 20, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron with Father David McCarthy officiating. Online condolences may be made at www.addyfuneralhome.com.
