MCMILLEN, Donald LeeKIMBOLTON – Donald Lee McMillen, age 89, of Kimbolton, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2017.

Don was born in Bellaire, Ohio on November 2, 1927 to the late Edwin and Thelma (Fry) McMillen. After graduating high school, Don enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served until he was honorably discharged in 1947. Don also worked at General Electric as a press operator for over 25 years until his retirement. Don enjoyed golfing and fishing. When he was younger he loved to garden; he took care of all of the yard maintenance for Fairview Manor for several years. On September 20, 2003, Don married Reva (Buchanan) McMillen, who survives.

Along with his wife, Don is survived by three children: Randy (Linda) McMillen, Rick (Marna) McMillen, and Dawna (Lee) Rayburg; four step-sons: Gary (Jackie) Buchanan, Roger (Rita) Buchanan, Terry (Cyndy) Buchanan, and Michael (Porsha) Buchanan; six grandchildren, 12 step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Jane (DJ) Spurlock.

Along with his parents, Donald is preceded in death by his late wife, Trudy, who passed in 2001, and his sister, Maxine Weatherford, who passed in 2002.

Calling hours for Donald will be held at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral on Sunday, July 16, 2017 from 4 – 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, July 17, 2017 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Jim Evans and Pastor Donald Silverthorne officiating. Burial will follow at Canal Lewisville Cemetery with the Coshocton County Veterans Council performing military honors.
