Register for free educator professional development workshop
NEWARK – The Works: Ohio Center for History, Art & Technology has opened registration for STEM at the Farm, a free professional development workshop for teachers of grades three through seven.
This daylong workshop will provide grade-level curricula that teach science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) concepts by providing opportunities to question and observe, plan an investigation, use tools and science equipment, communicate, and share with others.
Teachers will receive curriculum materials, contact hours, and are eligible for stipends.
STEM at the Farm will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at the Devine Farms Outdoor Learning Classroom, 672 National Road (Route 40), Hebron, OH, 43025. Projects and Partnerships (EPP) LLC will facilitate this workshop.
