Sandy Shrimplin PictureWARSAW – Sandra K. “Sandy” Shrimplin, 62, of Warsaw passed away at her home on Tuesday August 16, 2016 after a courageous six year battle with breast cancer.

Sandy was born in Coshocton on June 8, 1954 to the late Grover F. and Gertrude (Finnell) Taylor.  She graduated from River View High School and The Ohio State University Nursing Program.  In her earlier years, she worked at Johnsons Laboratory and College Park, most recently she was a RN at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital.  She was also a Private Pilot and a member of the “Ninety-Nines” women’s pilot club.

She is survived by her husband of eighteen years Scott Shrimplin; two children Robert Randles and Trudy Smith both of West Virginia; ten grandchildren and one sister Karen Egler of Coshocton.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister Linda Carney and one brother Wayne Taylor

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, Ohio on Sunday August 21, 2016 from 2:00 PM -4:00 PM where a memorial service will begin at 4:00 PM with Pastor Ron Davis officiating.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Health Services of Coshocton County “Hospice” and/or The Stefanie Spielman Fund for Breast Cancer Research, envelopes will be available at the funeral home. An online memorial is located at www.themillerfuneralhome.com.
